The following positions are currently available:

 

Strategic Analyst Intern
The intern will assist in all aspects of formulation and implementation of international trade projects. Duties include conducting market research, organizing and coordinating trade shows and missions, preparing written communications between our office and various international trade organizations, managing press relations, and developing website content. The intern will also be able to interact with professional businesspeople and civic leaders, attend international trade seminars, and participate in trade events.

 

Job Qualifications
Business or Public Policy majors preferred. Interest in international trade and commerce. Strong writing and communications skills as well as online research skills. Familiarity with MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Ability to multi-task with a variety of projects.

Research Analyst Intern
The intern will assist in an export program that helps California-based environmental and biomedical companies enter the European market. He/She will research companies in both environmental and biomedical sectors which are interested in expanding their businesses into Europe. The intern will do market research to identify potential European partners for California companies, either distributor agents or large company investors. Opportunities to establish and coordinate trade missions and shows are likely as well.

Job Qualifications
